The house has been renovated and has a really good standard. . The first floor has a modern kitchen, a spacy livingroom and a very nice bathroom. There's a hall, leading to the garden. There is also a big room for the heating system and a pathway that leads to the old bakery oven. Above the oven is another guestroom, which also have an entrance from the master bedroom upstairs.
Upstairs you'll find another bathroom, a guestroom, room for office with a balcony and a master bedroom.
The area is about 200 square meters.
The garden along the house is quite small, but has grapes, figtree, olives and is very charming. From the end of the garden there´s a staircase leading down to another plot that still needs to be turned into something else, right now it´s just a lawn with some newly planted bushes.
We have the best possible neighbours and the best possible location with so much in near reach. The village has it´s own theatre group, postoffice, library, restaurant and a shop.
There is a nice lake nearby (which is a bit rare for France) with nice walks, lovely bathing and a good restaurant. In the season they also have good music evenings there.
And so there is the Golf course nearby. 10 minutes away with 18 holes and afterwards fairly good food.
Best of all is maybe that the Dordogne have a really exciting history. Near us is the oldest findings of Cro Magnon people, with a lot of caves and the most worldknown one is the cave of Lascaux nearby.
